Hong Kong firm sees
shipping as alternative to road and rail
Hong Kong based Shipping is now offering a seafreight alternative
to China customers who normally use road and rail to transport
goods. (7/2/2003)
A spokesman for the company said: "In the past, railroad and
trucking was the sole transport mode for inter-provincial
transportation. It is fast and convenient but customers always
complain about high freight charges, damage and loss."
CY shipping says it now has a network in place that can offer
clients the ability to ship cargo from the northern and eastern
seaports of Shanghai, Tianjin, Dalian, Qingdao, Ningbo, Xiamen,
Nanjing and Zhangjiagang to southern and western Chinese ports,
and vice versa. |
